This weekend The Woman Who Loves Giraffes played at the ByTowne Cinema and our team had the pleasure of attending this screening. This documentary tells the story of Dr. Anne Innis Dagg and her adventure to Africa in 1956 to study giraffes. This documentary will probably make you laugh and cry (as we did) as you journey through Anne’s life and learn about her professional struggles in academia. Our course the documentary also sheds light on the disappearance of Anne’s favourite animal, the giraffe.
